Try Tri Again

It was another late night. There was much to discuss in the Pol household. And much to consider.

Given the energy I directed towards IMNA with regards to the rapid sellout of IM Wisconsin 2007 and the call for additional races, it would be somewhat hypocritical if I failed to at least attempt to register for IM The Ville (Thanks George, for that one).

So, on Saturday, October 21st at 2 p.m. CST, I will be sitting somewhere with multiple computers and a high speed connection, logged in and ready to go. Consider this another one of those declarations of intent favored by Bolder.

The Spirit of Racine half-IM race may soon move from an "A" race to a B/training race.

Let the countdown begin...

But... but... how are you going to do it after your head exploded??

GOOD LUCK!

YAY!

The very sad thing is, even w/ it being your "B" race at IM-pace, you will still trounce me at SORT. :)

I think I'd be torn... If you get registered, you get to race but it also means many months of tough training. If you don't get in, yuo can't race but you get many months of relaxation. So... Good luck?

Lurve that you already have the countdown clock going. Chase a dream!

U should get your friends involved...

there is nothing more than a truer friend than having them sign u up for a race that u will spend the months before shaking your head wondering what u have got into in the first place.

You'll get in- oh and that is going to make Mad city that much more inspiring for you. You know many of the great adventurers, eg Ponce de Leon used the "de" in their names-- I like "IM de Ville"

OK Pol, I have 2 questions.
1. is IM the Ville Louisville or The Ville de Nice (ie IM France)? I'm thinking you mean Louisville right?
2. Isn't that race going to be in August? As my friend said Louisville in August is about as great as February in Minnisota. What gives with the timing?
Either way, good luck.
