Two Truths and a Lie

TriGreyhound has decided to start a round of the sick and twisted game "Two Truths and a Lie." Used as an ice-breaker/team building exercise at many functions, he sees it as a fun opportunity to shut down the entire World Wide Web (a monumental task, if I may say so). Since I made a guess at his, I'll keep my end of the bargain and post mine.

1. My wife and I met on October 9th, got engaged on October 10th, and married October 11th

2. I was shot by a good friend when I was 17 years old.

3. A young Michael Jackson zipped up my brother's pants while on an airplane travelling from Georgia to California.

There you go. A bit more challenging than Greyhound's, as the internet is unlikely to provide much assistance. You'll have to work this one out on your own (or know me).

Just catching up here-I loved your previous two posts. My light at the end of the tunnel is Nov 5th right now. That day means I've completed my season, god willing, an Ironman. I also liked your kid/snack post, calorie restrictions mean nothing without instruction. I could send my kid with half a stick of butter for a snack, or a sack of sugar. Our morning snack is called "fruit break" both educational and healthful. Let me know if you are going up to Madison for IM-it would be fun to meet. We are bringing our bikes to tour the course Sat afternoon then we volunteer Sunday.

Very mysterious,IP. They are all so preposterous, that any could be true. I'll have to make a SWAG (Scientific Wild Ass Guess) and pick number 3 at random.

BTW, the internet did not help you as much as you think it did. tee hee.

I will say #2 is false because the person who shot you was really your sworn enemy who you were dueling it out with instead of a good friend. Making up stories about people I don't know is fun :-)

I'm going for #3 as being the lie because the 1 and 2 seem more plausible. You didn't say what your friend shot you with - could be an arrow or a BB. And the dates for the meeting, engagement, wedding could be across 3 years.

And I really have no idea.....
